Project Overview
The Grape family was needing additional space to comfortably host visiting family and guests. What began as a detached garage used for storage was transformed into a fully livable space, complete with a kitchen, living area, bedroom, and bathroom. Through careful coordination with permitting and multiple trades, the structure was reimagined into a functional, comfortable living environment designed to feel intentional and seamlessly integrated with the home.

2.
DESIGN
The design phase focused on reimagining the existing structure and how it could function as a true living space. By comparing the original garage layout with the new floor plan, the transformation becomes clear—shifting from unused storage to a thoughtfully planned layout that includes a kitchen, living area, bedroom, and bathroom. Every adjustment was intentional, balancing functionality, flow, and comfort within the existing footprint.

3.
The completed space gives the homeowners a comfortable, private place for family and guests to feel truly at home. What was once unused storage is now a fully functional living area designed for everyday comfort, flexibility, and peace of mind—allowing visitors to stay close while everyone still enjoys their own space.
